About Us

The Workforce of the Future initiative

The Workforce of the Future initiative (WoF) at Brookings provides policymakers and companies with data-driven insights into the forces shaping today's rapidly evolving labor markets. We do this through research and interactive tools that help identify high-impact strategies for economic and workforce development that deliver good jobs and upward mobility for workers.

This tool is based on research by Dany Bahar and Greg Wright on the link between U.S. immigration needs and local labor market demand.
